We wait for the books…...

Oliver is sitting on top of my full spectrum drawing light tonight, warming his various parts and wondering about Snow Days. He’s not really embracing the concept of a city brought to a halt by the biggest snow storm ever! He spends a little time each day sunning himself on a tall fencepost, watching for the book delivery truck from the Great White North, where the books are being printed. That we are excited about our book delivery is a huge understatement. Soon, soon, soon!!!!!!!

Our first plan of action when the books arrive is a reading , in our gazebo, to a few of the younger members of The Kid’s Advisory Board, Avalon, Jude & Caiden. I’m planning on filming it and will share it if the Board Members are cooperative. Kids move almost as fast as anoles, so, we’ll see.

I have been busy with the Oliver sequel, due to be completed in fall, “Oliver Anole & the WildGrasshopper Rodeo”. I am amazed that I’m having even more fun on this book! It’s a little bit like when I couldn’t imagine ever loving anyone as much as I loved my first child, until the day I had my second one (and 3rd and 4th) (and grandchildren!).

I see Oliver rolling his eyes just a bit & tapping his small foot on the lamp shade where he is still perched. Back to the drawing board. There are tales to tell.
