A very enjoyable pastime for me as a writer is to imagine how Oliver and his friends would do a certain activity. This coming week I will be on Marco Island talking to kids and signing books at an Easter Weekend Children’s Fair. I’ve decided to invite Oliver. This means I need to think about how he’d travel & what he’d use to carry his belongings. I think a velvety wisteria pod would make a good suitcase and could be held closed with vine. He can take care of packing. My next story, “Oliver Anole and the Wild Grasshopper Rodeo” is almost completed and I’ll be starting the drawings very soon. My target is to have them done by Fall of this year.
